Hospice Volunteer Training in Hayward

Regional Hospice Hayward area team is seeking caring and dependable individuals to become volunteers.

One of the most important things our volunteers can offer our patients is time: time to sit with them, listen to their stories and share their lives. Time to offer caregivers a break from the challenging task of caring for a loved one with a life limiting illness. If you have time to share, please consider becoming a Regional Hospice volunteer. Regional Hospice provides all volunteers with a thorough training program for the education they need to feel confident to help our patients and families.

Regional Hospice Services – Hayward Area has Volunteer training sessions scheduled on the following days:

  • Tuesday, June 20 at 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • Thursday, June 22 at 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • Friday, June 23 at 9:00am to 12:00pm

Training will be held at Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library in Hayward, 10788 State Highway 77. Attendance is required each day to complete the training.

If you are interested in an enriching opportunity, please call our Hayward office at 715-634-6433 to register for the training.
