Hospice Volunteer Training Offered

Spooner/Grantsburg team is seeking caring and dependable individuals to become volunteers.

One of the most important things our volunteers can offer our patients is time: time to sit with them, listen to their stories and share their lives. Time to offer caregivers a break from the challenging task of caring for a loved one with a life limiting illness. If you have time to share, please consider becoming a Regional Hospice volunteer. Regional Hospice provides all volunteers with a thorough training program for the education they need to feel confident to help our patients and families.

Regional Hospices Services Spooner/Grantsburg Area has Volunteer training sessions scheduled on the following days:

  • Monday, September 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
  • Tuesday, September 13th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Friday, September 16th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Training will be held at the Regional Hospice Services office, 819 Ash St, Spooner.  Attendance is required each day to complete the training.

If you are interested in an enriching opportunity, please call our Ashland office at 715-635-9077 to register for the training.
