Jeff's Story
Regional Hospice Services was honored to care for Jeff, helping him to stay in his Northwoods home, surrounded by memories and his loved ones. Jeff wanted to share his experience with others who may benefit from hospice care, “Hospice helps you live until the end, that’s what the goal of hospice is.” Regional Hospice is grateful for the opportunity to help Jeff and his family during his journey.

A Unique Perspective
Sara Seitz served on Regional Hospice’s Board of Directors for 22 years starting in 1998. When Sara retired from the board in 2020 she commented, “I always had strong feelings in my heart for what hospice does. Going to business meetings was different than having a loved one enrolled in our hospice program. When my husband became ill, he received hospice care from Regional Hospice. I saw exactly how our hospice service worked and I could not have been more pleased. All our staff were so sweet and caring. The RN and Hospice Aide provided great care.”
Lynda Anderson, RHS Executive Director reflected, “We were honored to serve one of our former board members by providing hospice care. Sara was always a strong supporter of Regional Hospice and will continue to be an advocate for our program through her video testimony.”

How to make a referral
Patients may be referred for Hospice Care or Palliative Care by their primary physician, family members, friends, clergy, or other health care professionals.
